Shari Lopp, President

Shari has been the Executive Director of Autumn House, which provides income-based housing for seniors and persons with mobility impairment, for 5 years.  Prior to starting at Autumn House Shari worked with young families as a part of a federal study administered through Public Strategies and served as Director of Early Childhood Ministries at Cornerstone Church. 

Shari grew up in Texas, but moved to Oklahoma to attend college and never moved back across the Red River!  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Oral Roberts University. She has 5 adult children and is GIGI to 7 tremendously energetic grandchildren. 

 

Darla Cheek

Darla has been the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Mid-Del Youth and Family Center, Inc., since 2014. She also serves on the board for the Oklahoma Association of Youth Services and is a Commissioner for the Del City Housing Authority. She currently is serving on many task forces including Children in Crisis Task Force. In 2017 she became a domestic violence advocate and works closely with victims in eastern Oklahoma County. She feels truly blessed to be in this position since she herself was a foster child.

Darla is a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She is married to Jeff who retired after 33 years with the Air Force.  She is the proud mother of four children and five grandchildren.   

Heather MorrisHeather Morris is nearing fifteen years in child advocacy. Formerly in the classroom, she was the Senior Instructor of the M.A.P.S. Program. This program focused on assisting students with mental, academic, and physical successes for their public education years and beyond. Her passion today continues in serving children under the Every Student Succeeds Act, as a Supplemental Feeding Coordinator, and advocating for the children of Oklahoma on a state level. She is married to Marc Morris and they are parents to three elementary students who attend Mid-Del Public Schools.
